Près de deux cents enfants réunis autour de l'arbre de Noël installé à la salle des Scouts catholiques. Le dépouillement de l'arbre de Noël était organisé par un groupe de femmes de Trois-Rivières à l'intention des enfants des soldats trifluviens, en service actif outre-mer ou cantonnés dans un centre d'entraînement du pays.
